Digital Storytelling II

Jannis Keil

16. September 2021 19. September 2021 , 10:00

The course DIGITAL STORYTELLING II is aimed at photographers, photo and video artists, and students of these disciplines who already have experience in telling cinematic stories. It builds on the course DIGITAL STORYTELLING I, but can also be booked independently. The four-day class will focus on two issues: optimizing the content and design of film formats, and working with digital photo editors and online customers.

In the content part of the training, the participants’ cinematic narratives are developed and sharpened in close dialogue with the lecturer and examined to determine whether the narrative form and visual implementation successfully address the intended target group. The practical part of the course deals with the modern requirements of digital image editing as well as the technical and content-related prerequisites for working with customers in the online sector. The structure and processes of implementing film projects in large teams as well as for TV and production companies are covered. Technical questions and problems concerning film, sound and editing are discussed in a practice-oriented manner directly related to the participants’ projects.
