Portfolio Review Rich and Famous 2022

The Portfolio Review RICH AND FAMOUS 2022 gives photographers and photo artists from Berlin the opportunity to present their work to renowned experts from magazines, exhibition institutions and galleries in 20-minute one-to-one talks. The portfolio review is an ideal opportunity to present one’s own work to the participating experts, to make new professional contacts, to expand one’s own networks and to exchange ideas with nice colleagues.

Cost for four 20-minute appointments: 50 euro!
The programme is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the City of Berlin. Therefore, only photographers and photo artists from Berlin can participate.

SESSION I
22. October 2022, 11 am – 5 pm
• Milena Carstens, head of picture editing ZEITmagazin
• Ulrike Kremeier, director Brandenburgisches Landesmuseum für moderne Kunst
• Katja Reich, head of photographic collection, Berlinische Galerie
• Ingo Taubhorn, curator Haus der Photographie | Deichtorhallen Hamburg

SESSION II
26. November 2022, 11 am – 5 pm
• Nadine Barth, curator and publicist barthouse Berlin and consulting editor for photobooks at Hatje Cantz
• Peter Bialobrzeski, photographer, photoartist and professor for photography
• Gisela Kayser, freelance curator, formerly director of the galleries at Willy Brandt House
• Friedrich Loock, executive director LOOCK Galerie
• Miriam Zlobinski, visual historian, curator and editor in chief Magazin ReVue

VENUE: f³–freiraum für fotografie, Waldemarstraße 17, 10179 Berlin
PARTICIPATION FEE: 50 euro for four 20-minute appointments
PROCEDURE: You can apply for Session I or Session II or for both sessions. You will have appointments with four of the listed experts per session. The appointments can NOT be booked individually.
