Digital Storytelling I

Jannis Keil

3. June 2021 6. June 2021

The course DIGITAL STORYTELLING I is aimed at photographers, photo and video artists, as well as students of these disciplines who want to learn from scratch how stories can be told most impressively on film: On the Internet, as an editorial piece, in exhibitions.

The four-day training DIGITAL STORYTELLING I will address questions such as: Why do I want to tell this particular story? What is the best way to convey my story? Which basic rules of cinematic storytelling do I have to consider for sound, image and editing? What is the best pace and narrative flow?

In addition to the development of the participants’ filmic and multimedia formats from the idea to the storyboard, the technical implementation plays a central role in the course. Two days will focus on content and design aspects, while another two days will provide a technical introduction to the editing and sound processing program Adobe Premiere Pro.
