The renowned photographer Jan von Holleben speaks with Edda Fahrenhorst, Artistic Director of the environmental photo festival horizonte zingst.
At the heart of the conversation is the extraordinary project REGENBOGENROBOTERWELTRAUMEIS, in which 489 elementary school children put their visions for a sustainable future on paper – from floating waste-recycling machines to voting robots. The project will be presented as part of a photo flash mob at f³ – freiraum für fotografie.
The photo flash mob will be opened by the PHOTO TALK: REGENBOGENROBOTERWELTRAUMEIS. Visual literacy, not just for children. Jan von Holleben and Edda Fahrenhorst will discuss the creation of the project, analyze the potential of visual literacy in our media-driven world, and explore the possibilities photography offers in educational work with children and young people.
