Kreuzberg – The Resistant Neighborhood of the 70s / 80s and Today
How have initiatives, organizations and residents shaped the identity and history of the neighborhood around the Kotti? What are the activities in Kreuzberg today? How can one contribute more creatively and actively to the common life in the Kiez?
On the basis of selected places and stories, you will learn how this very neighborhood was given its very own character over 40 years ago through self-determined action and organizations of various kinds. Narratives by contemporary witnesses and the use of historical and current photographs bring history to life!
The FOTO-SPAZIERGANG also presents associations, initiatives, institutions and people who have been active in Kreuzberg for decades and still shape cultural life in the district today.
The FOTO-SPAZIERGANG is conducted by Andy Wolff. Andy was born in the Kiez over 60 years ago and has been working at the Regenbogenfabrik children’s, cultural and neighborhood center since 2006.
