Accompanying event of the exhibition LIKE A WHIRLWIND – The Gender Plays by Marie Høeg & Bolette Berg.

At the end of the exhibition we present the short films The Tree and This is Katherine in the presence of Norwegian filmmaker Ida H. Eldøen.

The Tree
Depressed and hungover, Rebecca must defend herself against her ex-girlfriend Vivian, who has shown up to claim the apple tree they planted in the backyard. A short film with black humor.

This is Katherine
From a young age, Katharine begins to wonder if she might be a lesbian. She turns to female icons from film and television and embarks on an imaginary journey to find her true self.

Ida H. Eldøen is a Norwegian writer, director and producer. She has a Master’s degree in Film Studies from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and studied at the Nordland Collages of Art and Film. Ida is best known for her short comedies The Half Wall and The Corner, which have been shown at several international film festivals. Her films have won awards at various festivals.
