ARTIST-TALK with Paolo Woods

In the framework of the exhibition The Heavens – Annual Report photographer Paolo Woods gives a personal insight into the development of the project.

Paolo Woods and Gabriele Galimberti travelled for several years through the world’s tax havens. From the British Virgin Islands to the City of London, from the Cayman Islands to Luxembourg and the Netherlands: The Heavens – Annual Report takes us on a journey into a rarely seen, mysterious world of the rich and super-rich.

Paolo Woods and Gabriele Galimberti have both been working for many years on documentary long-term projects that innovatively combine photography and journalism. Her work has been exhibited internationaly, including at: Images in Vevey (Switzerland), Le Rencontres de la Photographie (Arles, France) and the renowned Victoria & Albert Museum in London. They are regularly published in magazines worldwide, including: National Geographic, The Sunday Times, Stern, Geo, Le Monde, La Repubblica and Marie Claire.
