In a relaxed atmosphere, Ingo Taubhorn provides insights into the work of one of the most important institutions for photography in Europe. He gives tips on cooperating with museums and exhibition venues and reveals the requirements that photographic works must meet in order to be shown in exhibitions.

Ingo Taubhorn is one of Germany’s most influential exhibition organizers. After studying visual communication at Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, he began working as a freelance curator for Galerie F.C. Gundlach, Hamburg, Museum Folkwang, Essen, Pat Hearn Gallery, New York and Neue Gesellschaft für Bildende Kunst, Berlin in 1988. In 2001 and 2022 he was a member of the competence team for the founding of the House of Photography in Hamburg. From 2003 to 2023 he was chief curator of the house in the Deichtorhallen Hamburg. Ingo Taubhorn has been President of the German Photographic Academy since 2010 and Deputy Spokesman of the German Photo Council in the German Cultural Council since 2022.
