This workshop focuses on all aspects that are essential for the successful realization of a photo book project: The editing, the narrative thread, the text/image ratio, the design. In addition to a critical reflection on the handling of the image material, a special focus will be placed on the technical features of the book: Papers, printing processes, bindings. Self-publishing tools such as Blurb, epubli, WhiteWall and Rosemood will also be discussed. Nadine Barth imparts her extensive knowledge of all aspects of working with publishers and self-publishing in a practical way, based on her more than 25 years in the industry.
